Resilient and Trauma Informed Community
Monroe County Resilient and Trauma-Informed Community (RTIC) is a workgroup out of Monroe County Mental Health Coalition working to make our county a trauma-informed community, using a collective impact model. Learn more about this Collective Impact effort here.

Mental Health Coalition
The Monroe County Mental Health Coalition formed in 2012. The coalition’s mission is to improve access to mental wellness services and reduce stigma across generations.
Currently, meetings are held virtually on the 3rd Thursday of every month from 8:00am-9:30am. No meetings July or December.

Safe Community Coalition
The Monroe County Safe Community Coalition partners with the community to reduce and prevent alcohol, tobacco, and drug use, enhance traffic safety, and promote healthy choices.

Nutrition Coalition
The Nutrition Coalition was developed in late 2016 after Monroe County’s Community Health Improvement Plan identified nutrition as one of the priority health needs in the county.
The coalition’s vision is a healthier Monroe County, one bite at a time.
The coalition’s mission is to build a healthy community through a comprehensive initiative to promote good nutrition and access to healthy foods.

Wisconsin Harvest of the Month is a statewide campaign that empowers families to eat more fruits and vegetables. Each month, Monroe County Nutrition Coalition features two seasonal fruits and/or vegetables and encourages families to taste, explore, and learn about the importance of eating fruits and vegetables.
